Blown stretch film is ideal for C-style pallet loads. Blown clear stretch film is puncture resistant, has the best cling properties and resists tearing at sharp corners. Blown clear stretch film is available in multiple heights, lengths, gauges, and pre-stretch rates up to 250%. Common applications include pallets that contain sharp objects such as metal, jagged crates or lumber, or contain excessively heavy loads. The superior puncture resistance of blown film makes it a far superior choice than cast clear stretch film. Blown film also has a higher memory, creating a tighter squeeze on the pallet. Finally blown film has a one sided cling, making it ideal for shipments multiple pallets will be stored directly next to each other.
