Automated Stretch Wrapping for Lumber, Decking & Engineered Wood
Secure heavy timber, composite decking, MDF, and 16-foot plywood stacks. Eliminate snapped metal banding and the severe centrifugal limits of traditional turntables with massive, continuous-flow orbital packaging cells.

The Damage Bottleneck: Steel Banding Destroys Product
Wholesale yards and composite decking manufacturers lose thousands of dollars weekly to product rejection. When steel or heavy poly-banding is ratcheted down on premium composite boards (like Trex) or raw lumber, the narrow bands crush the corners and bite into the wood.
The Solution: Replace aggressive banding with high-tension orbital stretch wrapping. The Dynawrap Pro 1900 applies a 10-inch web of multi-layer stretch film around the bundle. This distributes the containment force over a massive surface area, unitizing the heavy load flawlessly without crushing the edges or scratching premium finishes.
The Length Bottleneck: Centrifugal Force & Turntables
Traditional pallet wrappers fundamentally fail in the lumber industry. You cannot place a 16-foot stack of 2x4s or a massive sheet of MDF onto a spinning turntable. The length overhangs the base, hits the mast, and the centrifugal force would immediately tear the stack apart.
The Solution: The orbital architecture keeps the massive load completely stationary. By passing the load longitudinally through the center of the ring, the wrapper has absolutely no length limits. Whether it is an 8-foot skid of plywood or a 20-foot bundle of raw timber, the machine secures it safely without spinning.
The Weight Bottleneck: Conveyor Collapse
Standard PVC and belt conveyors are shredded by the immense weight and splintered edges of raw lumber stacks. Moving multi-ton bundles requires serious industrial iron.
The Solution: Enterprise-grade material handling. We integrate the Pro Series wrappers directly with heavy-duty motorized steel chain conveyors, steel slat conveyors, and Vulkollan® polyurethane rollers. Engineered specifically for sawmills and wholesale yards, these systems easily transport 4,000lb+ payloads directly from your automated stacking lines through the wrapping ring without hesitation.
The Storage Bottleneck: Outdoor Weathering
Lumber and engineered wood are frequently stored outdoors in lumber yards. Standard 4-sided wrapping leaves the ends exposed to rain, moisture wicking, and UV degradation, warping the wood before it ever reaches the job site.
The Solution: True 6-sided encapsulation. The massive Dynawrap Pro 2200 (with Welding Option) integrates an automated top-sheet dispenser to cover the front and back of the load before the orbital ring secures the sides. This creates a completely sealed, weatherproof package, allowing safe long-term yard storage without product loss.

Lumber Yard Consumables Ecosystem
Wood products demand specific film engineering. For extreme puncture resistance against sharp lumber edges and splinters, we supply high-performance Blown Machine Stretch Film.
If your product will be stored outdoors in a staging yard, deploying our UVI (Ultraviolet Inhibitor) Stretch Film is critical to prevent the plastic from degrading and the wood from sun-bleaching over extended periods.
Eliminate Banding Damage & Tipped Loads
From custom chain conveyors to infinite-length orbital passing, our Pro Series automated cells are built for the sheer tonnages of the engineered wood industry. Request a custom facility review today.
